BURGER KING
David the Agency São Paulo created an advertising campaign for Burger King Brazil for the World Burger Day, celebrated in May, 28th. They came with an automotive air freshener that smells like Whopper, one of the most requested sandwiches at the fast food chain.
In the campaign, the Whopper Freshener -- or Whopperizador de Ambientes -- was hung in some taxis that would ride through the night on Vila Olímpia, a São Paulo neighborhood, getting riders coming out of nightclubs, certainly starving. From this campaign, captured with onboard cameras, a video was produced.
Bárbara Bombachini and I photographed two stills in versions for Brazil and the global market, since Whopper in Brazil comes with cheese and in the American version, there’s no cheese.
These stills would be published along the video on Burger King social medias during the World Burger Day, along with press releases regarding the Whopper Freshener launch.
The film produced by the agency with some market reach info. (Our studio didn’t take part of the production).
